hi
i read that drifter project
about the vb script, i copied and pasted in a notepad and saved it correctly
and double clicked on it , but nothing happened but why?
also i wanna use hyperterminal to send date to the serial port
but what should I send to remote the car?
Sorry I am not good in electronics, but I really want to learn more
Please clear my doubts

Hi Simonwai,
If you've saved it correctly "test.vbs" then the icon should change from a notepad (txt) file:
to a script file:

I only tested on Windows XP, so I don't know if it'll work on other versions.

You can use hyper terminal to send data serially but the setup takes a bit longer than with the program I offered. I'd recommend using mine over hyper terminal.

nice project. i made something similar with a pc, parallel output, relais and a dos based c programm back in the school

i'm using window xp

so i wonder..what is the function for "my_script.vbs"?

What is the function for <good_terminal.exe> software after i install?
izit it got relate to "my_script.vbs"?

The .vbs file was simply meant to press keyboard keys programmatically into the good_terminal.exe program. This would then control the car with a premade selection of how it should drive. No software/hardware drivers necessary.
